French Limoges Porcelain Tobacco Jar with Lid.  4 5/8” diameter and 5 ½” to tip of lid ring. White porcelain with green bands and sides of crown lid. Gilt lid ring as well as lid crown edges and at green bands. Three tobacco vinyettes on the body of the container and two on the lid. These transfer images are detailed and include a match box with cigarettes, a pack of Nazionali Esportazione Cigarettes, and a pack of Philip Morris Cigarettes, all in nice detail. Base is marked in gilt; “LEC LIMOGES FRANCE PORCELAINE D’ ART exclusivite R. Leclair”. A lovely tobacco or cigarette container, beautifully detailed and made of fine Limoges porcelain.  $145.00 (ref.
