Pennsylvania Railroad Engine 4902 Roli-Poli GLASSES- set of six

$60.00

This set of six Pennsylvania Railroad Roly-Poly Tumblers are nicely enamel ,screen printed with Pennsylvania Railroad Engine 4902 pulling various cargo cars complete with caboose. 2 1/4" tall x 2 3/4" wide and each having a 4 ounce capacity. Engine 4902 was built in Junita, PA in May 1940. Designated GG-1, it was an electric Engine with 4620 Horse Power. It was in service through approximately 1968. These tumblers are in excellent condition. One tumbler has a red stain on the signal tower above the train. This is small and not distracting. Please review the images. Where the tumblers contact the surface they sit on, there are minor scratches from their years of use. With clear glass, this is often the only clue as to their age. These tumblers are probably from the 1950's, but are certainly from the time while Engine 4902 was in service. These would look great with some brown whiskey behind Engine 4902 pulling her train cars. Price: $60.00 (ref. C-241)
