German WW2 Foreign Volunteer Shield Patch- "ASERBAIDSCHAN". This is the first pattern, which was manufactured using the “BEVO” weave method. The later pattern was the much cheaper to manufacture method of color printing on cotton fabric. This example is in near mint condition, with bright colors and great detail of the weave pattern on the blue, red and green shield. These were manufactured on a long roll, so the top and bottom are finished, on this one these edges have been folded in. The left and right show raw edges since it was cut from the roll, but never sewn to a tunic. These are pretty scarce in such nice condition. Price: $115.00 (ref. B-956)
