German WW2 Medical Personnel Armband. Woven red cross and band with finished edges. This type of German weaving of insignia is known as the “Bevo” pattern. Nicely ink stamped to a Luftwaffe Flying Unit and dated 1939. This ink stamp shows the early Luftwaffe droop-tail eagle. There is a small spot of price sticker residue to the lower left of the “bevo” red cross. Slight soiling from age, and storage. This is a nice example of “bevo” weave construction and has a great unit ink stamp marking. Price: $135.00 (C-131)
