German WW2 Public Relations/News Photo. 7 1/8” X 5 ¼” Photograph w/ slug on reverse. The slug translates basically to; “From a bunker on the French North Coast. The bunker commander from a panoramic view led the fire himself. Invisible to prying eyes, as well as to that of the guards, is the whole landscape, which is dominated by the weapons of the fortifications.” The picture shows a soldier studying the landscape around his gun emplacement through a parascope. Notice the decorations and Iron Cross ribbon on his tunic and the compass bearings on the base of his obersation turret. Intersting subject matter about the Western Wall. Price: $28.00 (ref. B-610a)
