British WW2 R.A.F. personalized Pocket COMPASS. 1 ½” diameter x ¾” tall Bakelite/plastic two-piece threaded puck. The top is marked; “POCKET COMPASS” and has a 11/16” diameter RAF pocket button mounted on it’s center. A 1943 English Half Penny has been cupped slightly and mounted in the interior of the lid. The needle has some rust to the red and green painted pointer. The RED side still finds North! A great personalized compass. It’s easy to imagine it in the pocket of a R.A.F.
