These brasses are hand filed, and although “the same”, clearly have individual filing details making each so different from the other. Brasses are 2” wide x 1 1/2” tall. When turned inside out for inspection, the backer material on one of the pair appears to be a cotton rice sack with printing making it appear that it came from India. Cloth slip-ons are 2 3/8” wide x 1/3/4” tall. This type of specialized cheap labor was available in India, at that time a British colony. Nice bright patina. Lovely handwork. Very Scarce.
