WW2 U.S. NAVY 7 X 50 Binoculars in Case

$265.00

WW2 U.S. Navy Mark 32 Mod 1 Binoculars w/ Case. Binocs; 7 1/2” x 7 1/2” x 2 7/8”. These were manufactured by; “NATIONAL INSTRUMENT CORPORATION, HOUSTON, TEXAS”. The right eye piece body-end is marked with that, and; “U.S. NAVY BU SHIPS, MARK 35 MOD 1, Bureau of Ships logo “N in circle” 269892 1943”. The left is marked; .” 7x50”. These are finely made to U.S. military specs and of a quality not commonly found today. The optics are clear and bright. The 50 degree ends let lots of light into the binoculars. As was typical with military binoculars of the day, both eyepieces focus independently. These focus smoothly. Looking into the wrong end of the binoculars, the right side shows an edge crack to the mirror in the 3 o’clock position. Happily, this is not visible when these are in use. The body has paint wear at highlights and edges as seen in the pictures. The case, 9” x 8 1/” x 4 7/8”, is a rubberized molded style, made by “Hood”. Rubber, of Watertown, Mass. The bottom of the case is marked with their arrow logo. These 7 X 50’s will give many more years of service, and remain well stored and in very good plus condition. Price: $265.00 (ref B-919)
