US World War One Victory Medal with Navy “TRANSPORT” Bar. Navy recipients of the Victory Medal recieved bars that were edged in a twisted rope pattern. This one is a “TRANSPORT” designation. The medal has nice patina, with a wear spot on the shield, and background. The ribbon is slightly faded with wear at the upper bar corners. Vicotry Medals with Navy bars are scarce.
