U.S. Army Air Corps 11th Bombardment Squadron Patch. Silk screen on oil cloth, 2 1/2” diameter. Ink pen id’d on reverse as shown. The patch shows their mascot, Mr. Jiggs, with a cane and bomb under his arm. The Jiggs Squadron served in the Pacific Theater of Operations using B-25 Medium Bombers. They flew from both India and China against concentration of Japanese forces in the CBI theater. The 11th Bombardment Squadron was the first United States air combat unit in China. Very scarce.
