This Zippo has yellow, red and green colored engraving on the hinge-left body; “North American Van Lines Inc.” logo and “LONG DISTANCE MOVING” below in a rocker. There is loss of approximately 40% of the color fill. The hinge-right side has "Hilldrup Transfer Charley McDaniel" in two lines of script. There is loss of approximately 60% of the green fill color. The top, bottom, and sides are bright chrome. Both faces are brushed chrome. The canned bottom is marked; “ZIPPO MFG. CO. BRADFORD, PA.”, “MADE IN”,“ZIPPO”,“U.S.A” and “PAT. 2517191” “R” logo, “MADE IN U.S.A.” in three lines. With the end of the Korean War, Zippo returned to using brass as the base metal. This steel body lighter was only produced for less than a year before this transition. There is a rust spot, 12 mm. x 3mm on the top edge of the lid on the hinge-right side affecting the chrome in that spot. This lighter has it’s proper insert. It has been used and is in very good condition. What a great period personalized Zippo! The guy's name is great! Price: $60 (ref. TR 9945)
