a pack of WW2 PHILIP MORRIS Cigarettes, with Military Use Seal

$100.00

a pack of WW2 PHILIP MORRIS Cigarettes, with US Government yellow and red Seal. This soft pack is 2 3/4” tall x 2 1/8” wide x 7/8” deep. With a wartime paper liner. The silver colored foil liner was changed to paper for conservation of the metal that was used to create the foil. The seal is marked; “Free of Tax, For use of U.S. military and naval forces in Alaska and Hawaii or for use outside the jurisdiction of the internal revenue laws of the United States. This product is admitted free of tax.”. This is a scarce U.S. Government military USE pack of WW2 Phillip Morris cigs is in near mint condition. This pack is very slightly sunk-in on the left side panel (which is typical), but is complete with the cellophane moisture-proof cover, that did not have a red pull opener. The cellophane is complete and near mint, but has a tear to the right side of the top flap (as if to open them). It is a rare survivor based on it’s condition. This is a great pack of WW2 Phillip Morris cigs that are in a “time capsule” condition. They would be tough to improve upon. Price: $100.00 (ref. C-118)
