In the mid to late 1960’s commissioned “Sailing Ships” of all nations sailed the world on good-will journeys. These lighters and other small commemorative items were sold on the ship during public tours. The lighter has never been used. The postal cover envelope commemorates the GORCH FOCK, A-60.
