Wonderful and large Dough Thermometer. It’s face is marked; “DOUGH THERMOMETER Made by Taylor Insturment Companie s, Rochester, N.Y.” as well as the flour advertisement; “WE USE MAUSER MILL CO’S GIBRALTAR FLOUR”. This heavy nickled brass insturment is 16 3/4” over-all, with 6 1/2” x 1 1/2” face, and a nice hanging ring at it’s top. The scale panel is frosted and held to thermometer body with four blued screws. The temperature scale is from 30 degrees to 150 degrees, and marks the “dough temerature” at 82 degrees with a red line. This thermometer comes in it’s original finger-jointed wooden box with a sliding lid. It would look great hanging in the kitchen of a baker! It is fully functional and in excellent condition.
