BANGKOK, SIAM”, the red trianle has “SPIRIT MIND BODY” with a central blue field with “Y”. The white “Y: at the top of the dome, has lost some white exposing a silver stipple beneath. The back is a tarnished silver color with a pin and cone closure. Engraved on the lower back are the numbers “230”, perhaps a membership number. Thailand stopped being called Siam in 1939. It briefly was re-named Siam from 1946 through 1948. It then went back to being Thailand. I would place this pin as a pre-WW2 vintage pin. This pre-WW2 YMCA Membership Pin represents east (Siam) meeting west (Y.M.C.A.). It’s gotta be scarce. Price: $75.00 (ref. B-8462)
